These smartphones finally began to receive a global stable version of the firmware MIUI 10. Updates were due in December, but then the developers reported the discovery of some critical errors, which delayed the firmware for a couple of months.
Interestingly, the MIUI firmware version 10.2.1.0 was, in this case, based on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, under which the smartphones first came on sale. At the moment, it’s unknown whether MIUI developers will release a new firmware for these smartphones based on at least the eighth version of Android.
In spite of the fact that MIUI 10 is based on Android 7.1 Nougat in this case, users of these smartphones have become available updated design, new menu, system sounds and other changes.
