Announced Smartphone Redmi Note 7 Pro
Along with the smartphone Redmi Note 7 today announced another brand model – Redmi Note 7 Pro. The novelty looks exactly like Redmi Note 7, but has some important differences.
The first difference concerns the platform: if Redmi Note 7 uses SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, then Redmi Note 7 Pro will already offer a single-chip Snapdragon 670 system. Despite the similarity of names, there are a lot of differences between these platforms. Suffice it to say that the Snapdragon 670 is powered by a process of 10 nm, not 14 nm, and has cores Cortex-A75 and A55 rather than Cortex-A73 and A53. There are also GPUs: in the Snapdragon 660 model it is Adreno 512, and in the Snapdragon 670 – Adreno 615. In short, the Snapdragon 670 will offer greater performance with less power consumption.
The second difference between Redmi Note 7 Pro is the increased memory capacity. If the top version of the base model has only 64 GB of flash memory, Note 7 Pro will be version with 128 GB of flash memory. The RAM in the older model is 6 GB.
Finally, the third difference: Note 7 Pro will be equipped with an image sensor Sony IMX586. With the same 48 megapixel resolution as the Samsung GM1 in Note 7, it should provide better quality photos and videos.
For sale Redmi Note 7 Pro will arrive after the Chinese New Year, that is approximately in mid-February. The cost of this model has not yet been named, but it’s unlikely that the Note 7 Pro will be significantly more expensive than the usual Note 7.
