At the end of January, the FaceTime application detected a serious vulnerability that allowed users to listen to certain actions.
Despite the fact that since the moment of notification of this vulnerability, it took only a little more than a week, Apple managed to apologize, promise to fix the problem, and at the same time and get a summons to court.
Today, Apple has fulfilled its promise by releasing an update to iOS. The version of iOS 12.1.4 is clearly deprived of the security hole that allowed users to listen. Apparently, there are no other changes in the new version of iOS.
Recall that in recent days a serious vulnerability was found in macOS, but it’s still not clear what Apple will do with it.
