The fact is that virtually all of the smartphones, which a few weeks ago have promised to upgrade to the new software, will receive the latest build of OS earlier, which was promised at first. For example, if the Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A9 (2018) were promised in April, then now, according to new information, its release will take place in March.
The Galaxy J6 budget phone will receive an update in April, although it was previously promised to be reinstated only in May. It is important to note that exact terms up to days depend directly on a specific region. As a rule, Samsung has time to distribute a new collection of its branded OS in 2 to 3 weeks in all regions since it became available in the very first. As for the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 + and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones, which are considered to be flags of the 2017 model, they will be releasing the latest OS collection in a few weeks – in mid-February.
Samsung’s list of smartphones, which will be upgraded to the Android operating system 9.0 Pie remained the same, that is, it did not add new models, and also did not disappear those that were in it before. The changes only affected the release date of the new software. Most of the brand phones will be upgraded by the end of April, but in May, developers will break, and then the latest version for budget models of mobile devices will be released throughout the summer, including for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20.
