TCL develops five folding smartphones at once -

The tendency to develop devices with curved displays gradually captures manufacturers around the world. At the same time, the Chinese company TCL was ahead of the planet all over. If other developers are trying to create at least one such device, then TCL develops five folding smartphones at once. CNET’s representatives, who have access to official models and patents of the represented manufacturer, were able to obtain  information about this  .

The first two devices differ little from those developed by other companies. They look like ordinary smartphones, but they can be decomposed into tablets. It is noteworthy that in the first model the display is inside, while the second one is outward.

The next two smartphones look more unusual, but when folded, they do not transform into tablets. The developers are going to make them in the form of “clamshells”. Thus, users will get analogues of old phones, but with the use of innovative technologies and extended displays. Here the situation is similar to the first two devices: the first is inside, and the second – the outside.

Most attention deserves the last phone, because it can turn into a smart-watch. It turns out that users will first be able to do everything they need on the smartphone and then just put it on their hands. Of course, there is no need to talk about comfort and durability, because there is no prototype yet, so it’s not possible to test the device.

It is possible that the presented gadgets will be released under the brands Palm, Alcatel and BlackBerry, as TCL has everything to represent their devices under these trademarks. At the moment, it is unknown when gadgets will appear on the market, but earlier representatives of the Chinese company have promised to present the first such device next year.
