Xiaomi has announced at the official MIUI forum that the launch of the beta MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie for the three Redmi smartphones.
Global firmware MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM will soon be available to Redmi Note 5 Pro users, Redmi Note 6 Pro and Redmi Y2, also known as Redmi S2. Those wishing to take part in the test may apply before March 15th. The first collection will begin on March 19th.
Also, the screen-based fingerprint reader this year will appear in middle-budget smartphones Xiaomi
After completing the registration, the volunteer users will specifically be notified of the participation. For testing on a smartphone, the bootloader must be unlocked and the latest version of the MIUI Global beta ROM firmware installed.
At the moment, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Y2 are running the MIUI 10 shell based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Launching an open beta test is expected by the end of March or April.
